The Courthouse Classic is an annual road race for all runners. Anyone from the novice to the elite runner is invited, and walkers are welcome! Our race was started in the year 2000, and it takes place at the county courthouse in LaGrange, Indiana. This year’s race will be run on Saturday, June 15th. We have two races, a 1 mile fun run and a USATF certified 5K race. We have disposable chip timing for both races. All the proceeds go to benefit the Lakeland Cross Country Teams. Everyone that pre-registers will be guaranteed a T-shirt and an excellent goodie bag. Race day registrants will receive these items while supplies last. After your race we will have drinks, fresh fruit, snacks, sample subs from the LaGrange Subway, and other refreshments. When the races are over we will hand out the awards and draw for door prizes. You can visit the awards page to see how the individual awards are given. If you’ve haven’t ran in a 5K before, there’s plenty of time to prepare for this race. - Race Day Registration starts at 6:30am and ends at 8:10am.
- 1 Mile Fun Run Group Stretch at 8:15am. (Provided by Parkview Hospital)
- 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 8:30am & the 5K starts at 9:00am.
- Awards & Door Prizes follow the 5K.
